SelectScience releases editorial article, “Automated nuclei QC enhances single cell sequencing, featuring the LUNA-FX7™ and LUNA-FL™.

Leading independent science publisher SelectScience® has released an editorial article entitled, ‘Automated nuclei QC enhances single cell sequencing”, written by Sarah Thomas, Deputy Managing Editor, SelectScience®. The article explores the research efforts of Seongwan Jo, Assistant Researcher, Logos Biosystems on the importance of quality nuclei assessments in single cell genomics research.

Recognizing that quality nuclei assessments played a crucial role in obtaining accurate results, Seongwan tested multiple fluorescence dyes to pinpoint an optimal combination to use for these assessments. With the advanced features found in cell counters today, Seongwan wanted to test the integration of the dyes and optimization of cell counters in an effort to determine an ideal method to maintain quality control with the assessments. The study incorporated the use of multiple fluorescence dyes, different cell types, and different cell counters.
