Accurate and easy to use automated cell counter. The Luna-FL is the most accurate automated cell counter that I have used. It is very use friendly and can distinguish easily between smaller cells and debris. I have only used the instrument for brightfield counting thus far but am looking forward to using the other functions in future experiments. The customer service is also top-notch.

To sum it up, the device is a real time saver and a must have in every lab. This is one of the top two devices in our lab. This greatly saves time for cell counting. When we bought the Luna cell counter, the company sent us a technician who demonstrated all the features of the device. The instrument is very easy to use and even calculates the cell seeding dilution. We use disposable counting chambers, which also saves time and resources. We have had the counter for over a year now and have never had any problems using it.

Great cell counts and images! My lab is studying the underlying mechanisms driving tumor growth in endometrial cancer. A lot of the work is studying the genomics of the disease. As a result, we perform great bits of analysis on cells, but also nuclei, which are hard to effectively count with trypan blue. The Luna-FL Dual Fluorescence Cell Counter has given us reproducible data and high-quality cell count.

Robust results. Quicker than manual counting but far more expensive. I was able to obtain good agreement between the PI channel of the Luna FL and my own manual haemocytometer counting of nuclei stained with DAPI at a fraction of the time. One caveat would be false ‘viability’ given from background staining of AO on tissue debris but it could be useful in determining the level of debris from the isolation.
