Very good results. I am using this machine since 2017, and now, I am at another university and purchased this again because I simply trust it. In addition it has better options like gating cells and its lower limit of detection is 3 micrometers which is one of my attractions to it. I will try to make its use for platelet count, If I am successful will let you know.

Great overall system for the cost. This system is effective in counting cells/mL for Protozoa cells dyed with trypan blue. Images can be saved and reviewed for manual counts. This gives the user a good idea of how to experiment with parameter specifications for even more accuracy. The cell count data excel file needs to be labeled properly by the user in order to effectively analyze data quantitatively. The end user needs to demo the system and figure this out on their own. An overall great system for quick accurate counts at cost.
