Extremely easy to use and fast! Some of the biggest concerns I had doing cell culture were the cell counting unreliability and error-prone human dependency. Also doing and redoing counting using a tick-counter and neubauer chamber in hurry is problematic. This LUNA-II counter is exact answer to those problems and makes my job easier!

A real time-saver! I often have to count multiple cell lines for my flow cytometry experiments. The Luna Cell Counter II allows me to do this rapidly saving me precious time. On top of that, counts are reproducible and you have the ability to manually check whether counting was performed correctly. It requires you to go through the user manual and adjust counting parameters based on your cells but once you have the protocol set up it is so easy to use.

Great value, accurate, and easy to use. The cell counter is extremely easy to use. There is an option for reusable counting slides which can lower the cost of required consumables. The “tag” feature for tagging the live and dead cells counted is helpful in determining the accuracy of each count and the ability to gate the cell size is brilliant when you are dealing with background debris. It fast, has a small footprint and data can be collected on a USB.

Great results. Very efficient and saved me a lot of time. It is an awesome machine to have in your lab. You simply insert the cartridge with 10µl of your cells and get your result after seconds. I usually culture more than 4 cells everyday and need to count the cell number every time. Can’t imagine what I would do without this instrument. The price of the cartridge also make amazes me, being much cheaper than others. I highly recommend it to everyone who needs to count cells. It can save you a lot of time to do other things and then improve your productivity.

Time Saver!!! We already have the Luna I in house and it is just a time safer. You simply insert the cartridge with 10µl of your cells and get your result after seconds. If you handle more than 2 cell lines it is just awesome to have it. But now we order the Luna II and this has the advantage that you can also count primary cells and you can still use the cartridges of the Luna II.

Super easy to use, and saves time counting! I was truly happy when our company decided to go with the Luna II counter. Before we used a older system that ended up taking a decent amount of time and the slides were messy. I love that the Luna slides have a well so the liquid stays in the slide. I absolutely love that it automatically counts all the frames for you. Again we would manually have to choose frames to count and it can be time consuming. I would encourage the end user to do the demo to fully understand how the machine works and if it the right fit. However, it is extremely easy to use as long as you keep track and enter in the proper title for the counts for organization on the excel file. Great product.
